Keep a clear crisis plan nearby for overdose risk, emotional crisis, dangerous withdrawal, or any moment that cannot wait.
When to use it
- If immediate warning signs are rising and you need the first safe step in front of you.
- Before a risky outing, trip, transition, or return to a higher-risk environment.
- When you want one local-only plan that includes crisis contacts, transportation, medication, and family instructions.
Instructions
- 1.Keep the wording short so the card is easy to read under stress.
- 2.Update numbers, medications, naloxone location, transportation, and safe places whenever they change.
- 3.Share the printed plan only with trusted support people who may need it in an actual emergency.
